Ghost Effects gives Windows 2000 and XP users now have a way to have their windows turn transparent when moving or resizing them. The transparent features of these more recent versions of Windows are used so that the window that is being dragged or resized becomes transparent so you can see beneath and look at the contents of other windows.

Ghost Effects adds another degree of customization to your Windows desktop, personalizing your computer even further from everyone else's.

Better management of the windows on your desktop
Ghost Effects can allow you to see what is "beneath" the window that you are currently moving or dragging on the screen. This can reveal information about what lies beneath - other application and folder windows - for better window management.

Select modifier keys to enable transparency
You may have normal window moving and resizing work as always. However, if you configure Ghost Effects to work with the modifier keys (Shift, Control and Alt), you may dynamically enable the transparent features using the assigned key combination.
